Don't forget to try some of Patsy's Candies famous salt water taffy and naturally carbonated mineral spring water believed to have healing properties. Can you find all of the spring water fountains on your tour through Manitou? Don't forget to have some fun at the Penny Arcade... but be sure to bring some quarters!!
The Manitou Incline deserves a category in itself. A destination for many hikers, Olympic atheletes, and "bucket-listers" across the world. Conveniently located at the peak of Manitou Springs and boardering Barr Trail, this destination is sure to challenge your endurance. Don't forget to check out the Pikes Peak Ascent Race. Beginning at Barr Trail, to the summit of Pikes Peak, one of Colorado's most famous 14'ers with an elevation of 14,114 feet. If you love a great challenge, this is for you!!
Glenwood Hot Springs + Amusment Park
A true Colorado highlight, from an amazing hot spring resort to the Glenwood Caverns you're sure to find ancient underground caves waiting to offer you an exciting adventure and experience. Located at the top of the mountain, accessible by gondola, the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park has everything from roller coasters to canyon swings overlooking the Colorado River. Rafting & Zip Lining
With so many options to choose from during your time in Colorado, the extreme speed and adrenaline White Water Rafting and Zip Lining provide is a must have for any thrill seeker! Note: plan your trip according to your comfortability. Rivers reach their highest levels at the end of May and beginning of June due to the high levels of snowmelt.
